Not sure if it's on a per customer or per card basis.

In order to participate in the Step-Up program you must be within 90 days of your purchase date, and for the RMA program your product must still be under warranty.

Lame.

Huh? you can SLI two different video cards? news to me, I would double check that

Yeah you're right, it's the clock speeds that can be different, but they really should be the same card.

The one nice thing about evga cards is if you buy one and a better one comes out within 90 days of purchase you can send in your old one, pay the difference and get the new one.

pretty sure it's not a "really should be the same card issue", pretty sure it wont work at all if they cards are different models
i'm curious now if this actually works? not cause i wanna do anything with it, just curiosity. have you seen this work?

system requirements: Required Power Supply: 400 Watt/450 Watt

I have a Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI mobo which is about as old as Quake4 (2005ish). Is this the only requirement I have to worry about? I want to make sure my mobo can support it too.

edit. asking on majorgeeks.com too ;p

Not sure if it's compatible offhand.

Somewhat unrelated: From 5 minutes of looking.. apparently, that model 9800 tends to run a bit hot due to it having a dumpy stock heatsink. Just make sure you have adequate cooling/airflow in your case and I wouldn't overclock it too very much (if at all).
