Applying to Death Wish

Thanks for your interest in Death Wish. First of all, to answer your question: Yes, we are recruiting. In fact, we are always looking to recruit the most talented and dedicated players that this game has to offer. Death Wish is a hardcore guild who strives to be among the best in the world. Through intelligent direction, skillful execution, and unwavering dedication, we expect to conquer the latest and most challenging end-game content and soar above the competition. If this sounds like the kind of guild that you belong in, we are eagerly waiting for your application. We fully expect our applicants and trials to meet our standards and eventually help us reach our goals as a member of the guild. Before applying, please make sure you meet all of our requirements....

Checklist Before Applying
A Death Wish member should meet the following requirements. You must be...
...able to make at least four nights a week, preferably more. 6pm-midnight server time.
...very proficient and knowledgeable with your class, as well as WoW in general.
...a "min-max" type of player who is willing to go the extra mile for even the slightest advantage.
...experienced in end-game PvE raiding and comfortable in highly competitive environments.
...very well-equipped with best gear/enchants/sockets attainable, preferably from Sunwell.
...experienced with TBC raiding. Some Sunwell experience is preferred.
...prepared for each and every raid with consumables. This means food, potions, elixirs, flasks, and reagents.
...able and willing to motivate yourself to learn and master the latest and most challenging encounters.
...willing to respect and adhere to the guild's rules, policies and methods, as well as our officers' requests.
...able to take even the harshest of criticism with stride and learn to improve from it.
...a team player. A guild-first attitude is important. Lootwhores, troublemakers and whiners need not apply.
...a very sociable person with a good sense of humor who is fun to play with and easy to work with.

Raid Schedule
Sunday-Thursday, 6pm CST: 25-man raids (mandatory)
Friday, Saturday: PvP, 5-10 man (optional)

*Note* We are always accepting exceptional applications from all classes. As positions open up, the first place we look is our applications on file.

If you wish to submit your application privately, please send the application via Private Message in duplicate to Cutesybutton and Gokes.

Responses will be sent via Private Message and/or your application forum post. Consider this to be the first part of your trial. If you have submitted an application to someone not listed here, aka haven't read this post, there is a good chance you aren't what we are looking for.

Final Note
** Any applications that have been reviewed will be moved from this forum.** In other words, if you come back to find that your application thread is missing, that means we've already looked at it. If your trial is under review and/or accepted for trial, we will notify you as soon as possible via PM or by other means. Please understand that we receive dozens of applications on a weekly basis. We thoroughly review all applications and try to reply to all of them. If you've submitted an application, you may or may not receive a response from us. Otherwise, attempting to contact us about your application on an hourly basis will probably only annoy us.
